Attain well-being with a 20-minute power yoga morning routine.

Your day is a sequence of incidents and activities that keep you occupied. At the end, you might just feel like rushing back home and giving your body adequate rest. But what about the chores at home? Well, it needs more energy! Taking caffeine shots or having energy drinks is not a solution for a power-packed self. Such drinks are not only addictive but also harm your whole inner balance and overall health. Too much caffeine and unnatural ways can harm your mental and physical health silently.

Now, what to do for a powerful day? Start Power Yoga!

A great 20-minute power yoga sequence is a proven way practiced for a long time to attain good energy for the whole day. We are all trapped in a routine where we barely get time to recharge. Lack of breaks makes our lives sedentary, which in turn affects our health. Poor hydration, poor sleep, too much screen time, poor food habits, and a lot of reliance on modern medicines affect the body in the long run! So, this is the right time to return to our natural roots and heal without medicines. Yoga can be very effective if performed daily as a routine.

What is Power Yoga?

Power Yoga is a modern sequence of traditional yoga practices and asanas, which makes it a quick-changing routine. This is a fast-flowing yoga sequence for a fast-moving lifestyle. When we have limited time for ourselves, we can practice power yoga, as it gives us the benefits of multiple yoga asanas in less time.

Inspired by Vinyasa and Ashtanga flows, power yoga is a customisation of the sequence as per the requirements of an individual. You can take up your favourite poses and make up a good routine, having multiple transitions and attain the health benefits. If you are a beginner, please seek the help of an experienced yoga practitioner, as yoga needs methodology. You can reap the full benefits of yoga only if you are practising the right poses in the right way!

Power yoga is a powerful routine, and it helps you with instant energy, good immunity, great flexibility, wonderful body stretch, calm and peaceful mental health, and overall well-being. The only way is to be consistent in your practice. Well, customisation doesn’t mean mixing and matching any random yoga pose. The power yoga has flows which are relatable and easy to change, every added pose has a meaning and purpose behind it, and every sequence is crafted to be safe and easily achievable.

20-minute Power Yoga For Daily Well-being

Start the flow as follows:

1- Stand straight on your ma, keeping your legs a bit apart, feel your breath, inhale deeply and exhale gently, now raise your hand over your head, stretching it and joining it above, feel the full body stretch, right from the crown to your feet.

2- Now bend forward and place your hands flat on the mat, feel the forward bend for 4-6 breaths.

3- Now take your legs backwards and achieve a lower lunge position, raise your head while inhaling, then exhale as you move to plank.

4- Hold the plank pose for the next one minute or whatever you feel comfortable with!

5- Now bring your knees and lie on your stomach, raise your head as you inhale to achieve the cobra pose and exhale, repeat it for a minute or two!

6- Now again go back to the plank pose for a minute.

7- Then again, bend your knee and for a low lunge. Breathe for 4-6 times.

8- Stand up half and remain in a forward fold pose, sometimes inhale and exhale.

9- Now lift yourself in a table top pose, inhale and exhale for a minute.

10- Now stand up, gently raising your arms, bring your arms in front of your chest and hold this prayer pose, inhale and exhale consciously!

11- Now relax your arms by your side. Now bend backwards, bringing your weight on your heels, while your hands are raised as if you are sitting on an invisible chair with your arms stretched up, inhale and exhale, hold this pose for some breaths.

12- Now be in the same pose and bend a bit forward to make your belly touch your thighs, and your hands are pointed forward. Step back with the left foot, while the weight is on the left foot, raise backwards in 90 angle as you inhale and do a high lunge pose for some breaths.

13- Now stand up gently as you exhale, move forward, raise your left foot above the ground in the air and balance yourself on one leg ( Warrior III) pose! Inhale and Exhale!

14- Now come back to the normal position, take some deep breaths.

15- Now hug one of your knees to the chest, inhale and exhale. Now stand straight while holding your knee with both hands.

16- Inhale as you take one of your legs backwards and perform a high lunge once again.

17- Now come back to plank pose.

18- Now form an inverted V pose ( downward dog) and inhale and exhale gently.

19- Now come back on your feet and perform Warrior II pose, hands stretched apart, one knee bent and the other straight, open wide!

20- Now lie down in corpse pose and relax for 5 minutes!

So, are you ready for an amazing day? So, perform these great power poses for big energy all day long!

Have a great day ahead!
